Research Symposium: Patient-Derived Xenografts

The Cancer Consortium Xenograft Resource, Breast Cancer Research Program, FHCRC Human Biology Division and UW School of Medicine are sponsoring Patient-Derived Xenografts: A Research Symposium.  The tentative agenda includes:

  • Introduction to Patient-Derived Xeongraft (PDX) resources; Byron Hann (UCSF)
  • Using PDX models for preclinical drug testing/ validation; Chris Kemp (FHCRC)
  • Clinical Trials in PDX Models; Michael Lewis (Baylor College of Medicine)
  • Local use of PDX Modesl in brain and prostate cancer; Jim Olson/ Bob Vessella (FHCRC/UW)
